Which Wireless Pci Adapter ???
hi all,
firstly thnx to all who gave their opinion for my thread about wireless router..
but now i need again the opinion of experienced people,
which wireless pci adapter i have to buy?? which producer's wireless pci adapter?? which mark??
i'm using suse 9.1 pro,and i just wanna buy a wireless pci adapter so that i can use it with suse without any problem,easy installation,no driver problem..
currently i searched a bit in shops in belgium (that's where i live) and i found linksys,us robotics,dlink,belkin but sellers doesn(t know about linux support of these products....
what do u suggest??

I would write down the models that they sell, check the manufacturer websites for Linux support and then use the search engine here at LQ.org and google.com to see if anyone else has solutions for Linux configuration and driver howto. There's a list of wireless adapters listed in the Wireless link in my signature that I'd use to check also.
The reason I say it this way is because what I may like and have good favor with may not be on the market in your country or it's an older model and now the new model is on the shelves. You see?!
Post what they sell and then the people will be able to answer closer to the mark.

the pci adapter that i found are:
-Linksys wireless g pci adapter: model wmp54g
-Us robotics wireless pci adapter: model 5416
i searched on google for the drivers/support of linux/suse,but some people got it working,some have problems etc..
i really would like to find a mark which works under suse/linux,like this i can completely stop to give money to microsoft..
