Hi, I need to buy a war driving kit because I have to make a research in my job. So I was surfing in eBay to find something and I found this:

Some of you can tell me if this is good and if I can use this kit in my linux station with aircrack-ng?

Thanks really much, reguards Antonello

The card uses a Broadcom chipset. Run.

If you need to find and map wireless networks, or test 802.11B networks, a
high power Prism card would be a good fit.

Example:

Or this: http://www.demarctech.com/store/cata...roducts_id/212

(A 100mw Zcomax-based ZyAir B-101 would be perfect, but they're hard to find. A 200mw SMC-branded version is still around.)

Paired with this: http://www.provantage.com/zyxel-91-0...1~7ZYXE02T.htm

Here is one that is said to be at 300mw. It uses atheros chipset. Kismet can use mdawifi drivers. I would think air-crack might but search for that. http://www.ubnt.com/super_range_cardbus.php4
