VPN settings

I am using Mint 11 and trying to get my VPN connected. Could anyone advise me which packages I should have installed?
When I try to start or edit the VPN it defaults to the following message:
Could not find vpn plug in service for "org.freedesktop.NetworkManager.pptp"
I have the Network Manager packages installed.

On my system where I use vpn via networkmanager, I have following package installed:
network-manager-pptp
network-manager-pptp-gnome

just use synaptic, yum, rpm, apt-get or whatever to get this onto your system, and you should be fine
