Angry using ipw2200 on toshiba qosmio

after spending hours trying to figure out how to set this thing up, i finally installed the drivers . im using SuSE 9.2 pro, and i have my wireless network card setup, however , when i go into YaST control center, and configure my wireless network card, there is NO option tab or anything that gives me the opportunity to enter in a SSID or WEP key..

i read a buncha other forums, i tried many, and its still not working..

i read something about LDAP + NIS when installing, could this have anythign to do with it? if so how do i fix it so i have the ability to access my router wirelessly ??!!
