Using Compex (NP16A) wireless router with USB wireless LAN

I'm using Linux Fedora Core1 but unable to connect to internet using my Compex (NP16A) wireless router through my USB wireless receiver / transmitter.

Can anyone help me to set it up? I'm a newbie on Linux. Where do I need to start? Thanks..........

of interest is the wireles usb device . if wlan usb driver is instaled corectly , if it is at the right distance of the wireles router . the wireles router has his own setings panel wich can be accesst only after instalin the usb wireles card , or if it has over ethernet
