Using a wireless card with a Debian live cd

Hi Everyone

I am new to linux and I want to find out if it is possible for me to use my built-in wireless card (ipw2200) with debian live 5.0.1 (KDE desktop) as it is currently not being recognized by the CD?

Thanks
