Question usb wifi driver problem

Please help me with my problem.
I have installed a driver for a wifi USB stick on ubuntu, but when I reboot, the driver is not installed any more.
How do I make ubuntu load the driver when booting?
And how do I load it manually?

modprobe drivername to load it manually. Your system should autoload all required modules (drivers) automatically though, so you might have the wrong driver. Can you run lsusb in a console and tell us the result? And what was the name of the driver?
