USB GPRS modem dongle for linux?

Hello!

I'm looking for gprs modem for my laptop, in another words device which is only a modem, phones needs to be charged and so on... Is there anything available with linux drivers?

USB dongle would be ideal solution. I'd like to have sms/mms capability, and It would be ideal if those would appear as com port, so I could feed AT-commands to them... Faster gprs-level is better of course.

There is devices like this available (I can't post links due forums link-post-limit), but unfortenately they doesn't seem to mention support for linux. Does anyone have any good/bad experiences with these or some other products? Is there many chipsets available for devices like this, 'cos that is what counts eventually?

There's allso pcmcia devices like Nokia D211, if you think some of these is superior please let me know.
