Unable to find ndiswrapper interface

I'm trying to intall a Buffalo WLI-CB-G54A wireless card in Mandriva 2006. I had it working perfectly in 2005 LE. I can install the driver fine, but when I try to use it, it says that it is "unable to find the ndiswrapper interface". What should I try?

TIA,
Will.

Have you got ndiswrapper installed + compiled correctly after upgrading to 2006? You'll probably need to go back through installing, then installing the Windows driver before trying to load it up. What does simply typing "ndiswrapper" return?
