Thumbs up Trendnet TEW423I chip rtl8185 Linux driver FOUND

I found Trendnet TEW423I chip rtl8185 Linux driver
at http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/...loads=true#352

I used it on HP x64 machine with Fedora8 installed. It works....

BUT.... I still have one problem is.... I need to run the command to load the driver to startup the wireless every time I reboot.

I would like to start the driver automatically after rebooting OR use some UI software to manage this wireless interface.

Could anyone know how to do? I appreciate your help.

Trivial... You could make a script to run all those commands with just one script to install your driver everytime you start...
in a terminal...
vi yourscriptname.sh

once you open the editor just insert all commands you use to install the driver
example writing this on the editor:

cd /driverpath/
./makedrv
./wlan0up
/iwconfig wlan0 essid
./wlan0dhcp

and then you close the editor... To run this script in the path where you save just type in terminal sh yourscriptname.sh and it'll do the job for you...
remember to run that command as root.

Hope it help you.
