Technical support for configuring test bed for the implementation of a protocol

hello every one i am implementing a mobile ipv6 protocol
and while adding a ipv6 address wireless interface by issuing the command ("/sbin/ip -6 addr add fec0:106:2700::1/64 dev wlan0")
i encounter the error ("RTNETLINK answers: No buffer space available")
bye no problem is encounter while adding a pv6 address to my ethernet
can anyone help why it is happening

possible solution

I had the exact same problem: I couldn't add a link local ip address to my ethernet card. (well, the only difference is a wire).

I searched all over, but then I decided to see what happened without dhcp. Bingo! Ipv6 link local address was automatically there.

Long story short, I ditched dhclient and replaced it with dhcpcd. I hope that works for whoever finds this old post. I got frustrated with how many times I found this question without an answer.
