Suse Linux 9.3 WiFi Problems
I just installed Suse Linux Professional 9.3. I have a Netgear WG 311 v2 wireless PCI card.
I have downloaded and installed the drivers for the card from Suse. The WLAN card's green light is on. KInternet says that the signal quality from the wireless network is 50%. It even shows the name of the network, the bitrate (1 MBPS), the IP address, etc. But when I try to connect by typing in my WEP key, it gives me an error message that says that I am not "associated with the network," and that the connection failed.
My internet provider is SBC Yahoo DSL, the DSL modem is made by 2WIRE, and the encryption key is a 10 digit numeric code. (EXAMPLE: 1234567890).
Can anyone please tell me why I am not able to get an internet connection here? What have I done wrong? What have I not done that I should have done?
