SuSE 10.0 Llinux internet probem: the first time after installing SuSE the internet

The first time after installing linux SuSE 10.0 the internet works perfectly fine...however after i reboot the system the internet doesnt work at all. I have a Lan system with an ethernal card attached to my system which is connected to the router and then the ADSL modem

Use lsmod to see if your driver for you ethernet card is being loaded at startup.
