Talking Success w/ wireless netgear ma401

I bought the netgear ma401 (not 521!) and plugged it into my old ibm thinkpad ibook, configured /etc/network/interfaces and it worked perfectly. It does not drop out, lose connections, or any other bad thing. I am running libranet 2.8.1. Be careful if you order this card on line because companies often substitute ma521 ("improved and newer") thinking that they are doing you a favor. It is a pain in the ass to get running if you can. I sent mine to my wndows dependent brother. Make sure that you get the ma401.
