smoothwall + belkin wireless pci = impossible?
i've installed the smoothwall (8fixes) is up and running, everything OK, but im trying to use this smoothwallbox as a acces point to my network for laptops, so i plugged in a belking 802.11g pci card and a realtek LAN card (this one is working) and now am trying to configure it, i got some support on the smoohtwall forums, but i decided to ask you...
once i was trying to install the ndiswrapper, didnt work, make = [root@smoothwall ndiswrapper-1.11]# make distclean -bash: make: command not found [root@smoothwall ndiswrapper-1.11]# distclean -bash: distclean: command not found so didnt work... maybe you guys can suggest something, a 1 cd distro like ubuntu or something that can run on a 166Mhz + 32MB RAM + 2Gb computer, that allows me to share the internet comming through the realtek NIC with the laptops that also have belkin 802.11g PCMCIA cards... i can also do this in windows, but then it turns to 802.11b because of the ad-hoc... and thats reaaaal slow :( im open for everything, please keep in mind that this is my first linux thingie to try, so bear with me :p |
