The USB adapter, if its a version 1 or a version 2 is an Atmel device. The drivers recently made it into the kernel... but the 2.6.x kernel. They're easily compiled against a suse kernel though:

Now, as for the 2802w, according to what I can find on the
www.linux-wlan.net sheet, that's an 802.11g card, one of the Prism GT's, that's also supported... although I didn't think suse would have included that driver, again its just not in the kernel yet, although Suse does love to package non-kernel drivers. What does the end of "dmesg" say? As regards to loading support for that kid anyway.
Also, might want to edit your email out of the thread, the blind mailer link is good enough for that and you just don't want to get nabbed by spiders lookin for somewhere to spam.
