Red face SMC2632W Wireless

Ok, I've tried several distros and I'm finally going to call it quits from here on. The SMC2632W Wireless Card does not work with WEP encryption enabled.

So those of you with an SMC2632W card, you're gonna have to put MAC control on your Wireless Access Point in order to keep the unwanted neighbors from accessing your LAN. This is not the ultimate solution since your MAC address can be spoofed, but it adds some kind of security (somewhat). I would really like the WEP encryption to work as this adds another level of protection for DATA and ACCESS.

If anyone has ever got the SMC2632W to work with WEP on any linux distro, please let me know how you did it? So far I don't think it's supported using the SMC Barricade.
