sharing a printer via airport express

Has anyone shared a printer via airport express to a linux pc ? I've got a heterogenous network of linux, mac and windows machines and would like to share a printer with my airport express to all of them.
I've tried the normal way of adding an Ip based printer, but no luck. Nor have I seen any post of successful implementations of this; if you've done this successfully, please let me know.

Apple's airport express allows you to share a usb printer by connecting it to the airport express. They give instructions for connecting from macs and XP/2k, but no mention of linux.

Does the printer have an IP address?

Do you have CUPS installed on your Linux machine?
