SanDisk Connect Plus on Zaurus
I am trying to get the SanDisk ConnectPlus Compact Flash WiFi working on my Zaurus C700. SanDisk has been oh so helpful telling me that the card will not work under linux, as the drivers do not support the dual function card. There are posts on this site that note that other users have at least gotten the Wireless portion of the card working, but it seems to be out of the box, or at least none too complicated.
Does anyone know what the chipset that it uses?, or can anyone tell me what drivers are being used to get wireless functionality?
Part II,
I've been messing around with the configurations, trying to narrow down who what when where why and how. so far, i've bound the card to the prism2_cs driver, which gets me as far as the zaurus recognizing the card as wifi, but there is no connections being able to be established to APs, the antenae led never comes on even when searching for APs.
iwconfig returns
lo no wireless extensions
eth0 no wireless extensions
cardctl status returns
Socket 0:
3.3V 16-bit PC Card (suspended)
i'm assuming because i don't have just the right drivers(if they exist at all) no wireless extensions are there. and everytime i try to run a resume or reset with cardctl, it never seems to unsuspend the card.
Does anyone know how to unsuspend the card? or add wireless extesions? or come closer to finding the way to WiFi?
I'll suffer through no memory until the "proper" driver can be found/created as long as i can get my WiFi
thanks in advance
