Redhat AS 4 / Dell Latitude D810 laptop / Wireless
 
Hi all,

Below is my environment.


Laptop - Dell D810 Latitude Laptop with Intel Centrino Mobile processor.
Wireless Card - Intel Pro Wireless 2915abg Card
OS - Redhat AS Ver 4 update 4.

Problem: When I issue ifup eth1, I get the below message.

My Dmesg output is as below

[root@tg ~]# dmesg|grep ipw

You need to install the firmware package for the iwp2200 wireless device.

This one should work, do not let the distribution version bother you;
