Does anyone have a recommendation for a pcmcia 802.11b wireless
card for my laptop. I running Suse 9.0 on a dell 5150. I would like a card that
is easy to setup and get running.
For what it's worth, I have a PCMCIA SMC 2632W card that has never experienced a problem under SuSE 9, Mandrake 9.1 & 9.2. It uses the orinoco_cs driver if i'm not mistaken.
How much do you want to spend? I am using a DLink DWL-AG650 cards with the madwifi drivers. It is a tri-mode card, a/b/g, and it was a snap to setup and works great. You can pick one up for about $65 at a variety of places.
