recommands for reliable and cheap WiFi PCMCIA card
 

I'm looking for a WIFI notebook card which will be reliable, not to expansive, supported by linux and supports B anf G
any idea?

Cheap wireless card for linux
 

I would recommend the NetGear WG511T--I think after a rebate I paid about $30 for mine and have been running it using several different versions of the madwifi drivers for over a year now (Fedora Core 4--often, but not always using Network Manager) and it has worked out great for me. Not sure why you would need b support--if that is really necessary, then this card is not the right one, as it is g only (I am running this card on a home wireless LAN that is mixed--i.e. has one computer connecting with a b adapter). Hope this helps.

I picked up a Linksys card at Radio Shack for under $50 - which was £25 in real money!

Telling us in which country you live may help us narrow down the costs.

LQ.org also has a HCL where you can read user reviews of many wifi network cards, such as the Netgear WG511T for example.
I own the WG511T as well, and AFAIK it is compatible with the b standard. Not a bad card at all, IMHO. Good luck with it.
