quick wireless networking question

OK,

My roommate just got a mac router. My wireless internet worked for about three days with it. But now when I try to connect to our network it just says 'Acquiring network address', even though i have perfect signal strength...I'm somewhat new with networking but Im pretty sure im just missing some little detail...

Are you using dhclient or dhcpcd to get an IP? Were any settings changed on the router? Can you still associate with it?
