FATAL: Unknown capture source type 'prism2' in source 'prism2,wlan0,prism2source'
I get exactly the same message. I'm using a Prism2 card (Linksys) that's on wlan0. I set up kismet.conf for prism2, wlan0, prism2source.
I'm guessing my problem is that unlike 9.0, YaST originally set up the box with an orinoco driver on wlan0. I've tried to correct that with a kismet.conf config of orinoco, wlan0, orinocosource, but that yields an error of "no packetsources were enabled"
The only solutions I can think of are:
1) install prism2 drivers (if so, where do I get something that does't require a kernel recompile?)
2) buy and install an orinoco card
