Problems in Ubuntu 10.10 with wireless connection - Realtek RTL-8187SE

Hello....
I have a problem with mi wireless connection... I tried using 'ndiswrapper' and I installed the driver for my card (Realtek RTL 8187SE' and at the moment I don't have wireless... My 'eth0' connection works perfectly, but my 'wlan0' connection doesn't work...

My laptop is a Toshiba Satellite L505D-SP6905R...

If I type 'lspci' I receive the next message:

If I type 'iwconfig', I receive the next message:

---

----

The last one is because I installed 'VirtualBox'....

If I type 'rfkill list' nothing appears (After execute 'sudo rfkill unblock all' ) ....

I read posts on Internet and all the people say that 'ndiswrapper' is a good option to this problem, but as I said it doesn't work for me.... I installed the driver 'rtl-8187se' for windows 7 (Because my Laptop had Windows 7 before I install Ubuntu 10.10)...

At the moment, I've just re-installed Ubuntu 10.10...

I think that maybe the problem is that my wireless card is 'off' (Maybe)... But I don't know how to turn it on in Linux (I tried 'sudo ifconfig wlan0 up' and nothing happen)... Because I installed Ubuntu in the whole disk...

I type again: 'sudo rfkill unblock all' and then: 'rfkill list' and nothing happen...

I don't know if I have to install Windows again and share the disk with Ubuntu, and turn the wireless on from Windows to work in Ubuntu (I don't know, I think....)

Somebody help me... Thanks in advance...

The driver is in the kernel since 2.6.29,but you try in your kernel too

[edit] Kernel

The driver might be in staging so you may need to "unmask" it
Linux Kernel Configuration: Enabling staging and module
[*] Networking support --->[*] Wireless --->[*] Wireless extensions
Device drivers --->[*] Staging drivers --->
[ ] Exclude Staging drivers from being built
<*> RealTek RTL8187SE Wireless LAN NIC driver

The titled "Solved" is very misleading.

The titled "Solved" is very misleading.

You should have said "failed to solve and had to reinstall".
