Problem installing rt61 driver for Edimax EW-7108PCg PCI Card on Fedora Core 5

Hi

I am trying to install rt61 module from serialmonkey but I keep getting the following error at make:

make
make[1]: Entering directory `/usr/src/kernels/2.6.18-1.2239.fc5-i686'
make[1]: *** No rule to make target `Driver/rt61-1.1.0-b2/Module'. Stop.
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/kernels/2.6.18-1.2239.fc5-i686'
rt61.ko failed to build!
make: *** [module] Error 1

My system specs are as following:

Linux tom 2.6.18-1.2239.fc5 #1 Fri Nov 10 13:04:06 EST 2006 i686 athlon i386 GNU/Linux

'lspci -v' output:

00:0e.0 Network controller: RaLink Unknown device 0301
Subsystem: RaLink Unknown device 2561
Flags: bus master, slow devsel, latency 32, IRQ 10
Memory at d5000000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=32K]
Capabilities: [40] Power Management version 2

The kernel source is there so I am not sure why it is failing at make.

Please help!

Regards
L

Thanks for replying.

I removed the spaces from the path and it worked!

I can see the wireless card in Network Configuration tool neat. I am also using rutilt to configure wireless settings. Now the problem is that once the wireless is up and running, the system freezes. I have manually rebooted a couple of times but the problem persists.

How can I troubleshoot this?

Regards
L
