poor performance with madwifi

Hi I have a D-link DWL G650+ running on a mandriva with madwifi.
I can't connect to the. I think this may come from my poor signal reception: 11/95 and noise = -85dB.

I should maybe say that my card receive a bad signal under win XP but enough to surf the web without any signal cut.

Can madwifi connect to the web with a such poor reception?

Any1 knows eventually some parameters who would improve performances?

Greg
