pcmcia card not detected MDK 10.1

I'm using a Proxim b/g card in my pcmcia slot and mcc cant detect it. It doesn't show up all. I've followed this bug fix all the way through but still nothing. I've even upgraded harddrake to the newest version and nothing. The light on my card just keeps flashing. iwconfig reveals nothing with wireless extentions at all. Does anyone have any other ideas? I've spent 5 days googleing and reading other forums. Please help!!

Hello StraitFaced,

Make sure you have hotplug and PCMCIA services being started on boot. I'm sure you have but check this anyway and make sure they are running. Can you post the output from iwconfig, that would help somewhat. Try also running the ifconfig command and see what interfaces are running there. Make sure you have wireless tools installed. I cant quite tell from your post whether you have or not which is why I've asked for the iwconfig output. Lastly, what is the make of card you have please?
