No WiFi or Ethernet or Bluetooth Ubuntu 20.10 Groovy Gorilla RTL8822BE

Hi

I have dual-boot Ubuntu 20.10 & Windows 10

I have been having a problem since upgrading to 20.04 Focal Fossa which was Bluetooth only exists upon hibernation so I tried to compile rtlwifi-new but failed with a lot of errors.

Now, to a new strange problem: LAN, USB tethering, Wi-Fi not working (I connect successfully but with no internet access)

Thoughts here, not really a full answer.

I have never liked upgrades.
Since you did some work on a driver related to this issue I assume worse case.
If it were me, maybe I'd consider getting new iso of Ubuntu and just starting over.

To fix what you have may be to start with seeing what modules are loaded for this issue.
lsmod and might look at lspci or lsusb for nic. Then maybe double check ifconfig just to be sure.
