No GUI NFS Server option in Suse 10.2?

Hello,

Looking for pointers from those who may have come across a similar problem, having already lost an afternoon to trawling.

Used SuSE 9.3 for a few years, which, once originally configured, ran perfectly. New HDD install of SuSE 10.2 for replacement homeserver machine has left me without a NFS Server option on YaST. I've changed the /etc/exports, hosts.allow & hosts.deny to the same as when running the previous version, yet the homeclient machine cannot access the shared folders. The internet connection, via Belkin ADSL Modem with Wireless Router, remains fine on both machines.

Mounting from the client times out on TCP, reverts to UPD, then times out altogether.

Any obvious ideas?

There a YAST GUI tools available for NFS. You need to install yast2-nfs-client and yast-nfs-server.

Thank you reddazz.

Didn't know to look for it on update. Prompted for source CD and the GUI is where I would expect to find it. Very grateful for your input.

BTW, fantastic KDE desktop pic. Really like the weather thing and all the on-screen system info. Did you create that stuff or find it someplace?

Kaine.
