Smile Networking XP to Linix

I have a Compaq running XP professional and I want to connect(hardwire) it to a wireless router which will be connected to the cable modem. I, in turn want my Dell which is running Linux Ubuntu 6 to be connected via a wireless adapter attached to the Linux box. What hardware should I buy that contains the drivers for the Linux side? I understand that the router attached to the XP side should be no issue.

Thank you

Michael

Your post is a bit confusing. Do you already have a wireless adapter? If so, then you should post it's information.

If not, check our Hardware Compatibility List for one that is reported to work well with Linux.
