Netgear WG511T need drivers for fedora 2 help!!!!!


ive recently moved over to fedora 2 and now my wireless card a Netgear WG511T
wont work , netgear offer no linux support . is it possible for this card to ever work
does anyone know where i can get drivers ???????

any help appreciated

This card seems to work with the madwifi drivers. There is a how-to here at LQ

For some reason, the madwifi project hasn't released any official files, everything is being done through CVS. It isn't that hard to get the drivers using CVS. I posted some instructions in this thread that explain how to do it. Post back here if you have trouble.

it says bash: cvs: command not found
