You should get away with first unloading the ndiswrapper (if you got it loaded in the first place) with modprobe -r ndiswrapper or rmmod ndiswrapper, then ndiswrapper -e bcmrndis or whatever before trying again. Do a quick ndiswrapper -l to make sure there aren't any drivers installed then install new driver for new card.

Even though currently I'm having problems getting this F5D7051 Belkin to work [it is listed as a working ndiswrapper driver - When I enable the Netgear WG111T on my XP machine the Belkin on the Linux machine then starts blinking. Why is this? Of course I don't get anything from the Belkin. Is this just interference?

Well the Belkin F5D7051 USB works with ndiswrapper BUT you need ndiswrapper-1.17. This is great news. Now for the Netgear WG111T USB ....

Thanks for the help which laid the grounbase for -1.17.
