Netgear PCI card

I'm having endless difficulty with this Netgear Rangemax Wn311b on any distribution (currently using Manjaro but tested other distros to see what would happen). The network manager can detect the router but whenever I try to connect I get this error in nmcli. (In addition, when I try using WICD, it tells me there are no wifi connections available at all.)

"Error: Connection activation failed: (7) Secrets were required, but not provided."

I've tried every driver, opensource and proprietary and they all give me the same results. However, if I try using an external TP-LINK USB dongle, it works just fine (though it's a lot slower so I would much prefer the card). Some assistance to this issue is most appreciated because I'm pulling my hair out right now.

Kernel- Linux 4.14.54-1-Manjaro

What chipset is on the card? Running the command lspci in a terminal should reveal that information.

I've already tried every compatible driver and they all give the same result. That doesn't seem to be the problem.
