netgear (marvell) wifi card misidentified as atheros
I installed SAM Linux on an old Gateway box. It misidentified my netgear wifi card (marvell technology) as an atheros. I know I need to use ndiswrapper and install the proper *.inf for this netgear card. But, I need to know if and how I can uninstall the atheros driver first.
I guess my main question is how can I stop SAM-Linux from recognizing my netgear wireless card as an atheros wireless card? There's got to be an answer from someone.
Thanks 2Gnu. I got it working by doing precisely that. I blacklisted atheros and then using ndiswrapper loaded the Marvell *.inf driver and all is well in wifi world!!!
