Unhappy Need Help - Intel 3945 Wireless

Hi Guys,
Need some help with wireless....
After struggling for over a week I successfully compiled and installed wireless network card(Intel 3945ABG) on my Toshiba M100 (Fedora 5).
I have 2 problems here:
1. I have to compile and load the service everytime I re-start the system. (command ".load debug=0")
2. The signal strength drops to "null" every 2-3 mins and gains strength after 5 mins.
Is there any way that I can make the wireless service to load automatically at start-up....something like start-up program in "Windows" or creating a batch file

I have same integrated card in my Acer laptop. I haven't been able to get it to work automatically but here's how I do it.

1. I need to enable the wireless when I start my laptop by using the WLAN switch
2. I load the correct module "modprobe ipw3945"
3. I start my interface "ifconfig eth1 up"
4. I use wpa_supplicant to connect "wpa_supplicant ..."

I compiled the ipow3945 drivers from source and they seem to work nice. I could keep the switch enabled and add "ipw3945" in my modules.autoload to get it to load automatically.

I don't know why the signal would drop and then gain strength, though. Mine's working perfectly.

You could make some start up script and then add it to rc.local so it would start at every boot up.
