need dwl 520 wireless lan card driver
i have problem installing the wireless lan card "DWL 520 " can some one give me the solution or provide the detail that how i can successfully install this driver on my linux mechine
i am using red hat 9.0 with kernel 2.4

http://ndiswrapper.sourceforge.net/ Check out this site. Ndiswrapper is supposed to support your card. You might need to recompile your kernel though depending on the number after 2.4.
No we won't email you since then nobody else who has the same problem as you can find it here.

what if it does not work, i want to get the drivers onto my second drive (not installed)
befor i install redhat, i am also using a DWL-520 wireless card...

you need madwifi from cvs.sourceforge.net It is the only real native linux driver for your card.

oh one last thing, does these drivers require me to put them in ndiswrapper. i know i had to use ndiswarpper fro my dlink g630. im running debian testing btw.

i have some issues with this too i have a post up
i cant post links so here is my post
i have a DWL-520+ on Fedora Core 4 i386 and i have it hardwired at the moment and wondering if i could get some help with setting it up ive looked for 2 days for other posts/guides for this but something always ends up erroring if i fallow their directions.. it might be i just dont know how to use this but ive had several people help me withthis issue andno luck..
System specs
- p4 640 (3.2 HT/64 bit) im not running 64bit though
-1 gig of ram
-Nvidia GeForce 6600 (pci-e)
-ECS 915p-a v 1.2 Motherboard
ill try anything you guys can get to work!
ive TRIED
-madwifi (cant install it with yum maybe i dont know how)
-ndiswrapper (cant find directions for FC4 i tried for other linux distros)
-acx100 (i dont know where these files go!)
im using KDE and it was installed yesterday lspci shows networkcards like this
02:01.0 Network controller: Texas Instruments ACX 100 22Mbps Wireless Interface
02:0a.0 Ethernet controller: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL-8169 Gigabit Ethernet (rev 10)
the 1st one is my DWL-520+
Hardware manager doesnt detect it at all
and last neither does my network util
any questions ASK ME :P thanks
