Ndiswrapper on Fedora Core 5

Hello everyone,

I have followed this tutoral "Ndiswrapper in Fedora Core 5" and well I run into errors. I have updated the kernel, and did "make" on ndiswrapper. I do "make install" as root and everything works no errors. But when I run "ndiswrapper" it says Ndiswrapper can not be found. What can I do to fix this?

PS: There are no errors when I compile.

By the way, I used Ndiswrapper 1.7-Stable.

if you are using FC5, do the following

yum install ndiswrapper

compiling from source isn't always the answer, but if you do change your kernel, you do have to reinstall ndiswrapper.

now i'm curious, if you try yum, how are you going to start your card? i tried dhclient and I get zero output... it is scary. Any help would be appreciated from all. Let me know if you get your working.

oh, and i re read your post. change your path to include ndiswrapper

PATH=$PATH:/sbin

that is why you can't find it. FC5 doesn't include the /sbin or /usr/sbin in it's path of 'quick commands' (for lack of a better word).
