Question ndiswrapper: Wireless not working under Slackware 10.1


Dear All, This is my very first thread to be created by me, I shifted to linux now from more than 6 months, and everyday I am learning more from its amazing community. recently I have shifted to Slackware distribution, and I have this little problem... I am trying to connect to my home network using my Belkin F5D7050 USB wireless adapter, but there is a little problem I am facing, ummmm its not working! these are the details:

Slackware 10.1
Acer Travelmate 630 laptop

some output of some commands might be of help:

# ndiswrapper -l
Installed ndis drivers:
rt2500usb driver present, hardware present


# dmesg |grep ndiswrapper
ndiswrapper version 1.3rc1 loaded (preempt=no,smp=no)

ndiswrapper (ndiswrapper_add_usb_device:343): Windows driver couldn't initialize the device (C0000001)


# lsusb

# cat /proc/dma
4: cascade

# iwconfig
lo no wireless extensions.

eth0 no wireless extensions.

# more modules.conf

As you might have guessed, I have been on the net for a while now searching for a solution to this problem, but I can't find any solution.

if anyone can help me, I would really appreciate your answers. and again THANK YOU ALL GREAT LINUX COMMUNITY FOR ALL THIS HUMANITY EFFORTS FOR A BETTER OPEN SOURCE WORLD.
