Ndiswrapper and Mandriva 2008

Hi all,
I got strange behavior on my newly installed Mandriva 2008.I think is something wrong either with the kernel itself or with the way how Mandriva 2008 handle the driver.Anyway, the main point is that from time to time(depend how busy my network is-more busy-more often) I lost connection with my Netgear WGR614 router.I am solving the issue with restart on my network-I am doing it through NetApplet(the command service network restart has no effect). My wifi card is Netgear WG311,I use ndiswrapper,I was following the instruction on its website, the module is loaded, truly I don't expect is something wrong with my config.I have done this in Mandriva 2007(the same way) and it worked perfectly. Now I have about 50% signal strength and drops. How this is possible?
