NDIS Wrapper Help Please
 
Good Morning All,

I am running mandrake 10.1 community and have an orinoco 802.11a/b gold wireless card.
My problem is i have to delete and reinstall the driver every boot if i dont i get these errors.
[root@localhost root]# ndiswrapper -l
Installed ndis drivers:
ntpr11ag driver present, hardware present
[root@localhost root]# drakconnect
SIOCETHTOOL: Operation not supported
SIOCETHTOOL: Operation not supported
SIOCETHTOOL: Operation not supported
SIOCETHTOOL: Operation not supported
SIOCETHTOOL: Operation not supported
SIOCETHTOOL: Operation not supported
error reading information on service tmdns: No such file or directory
error reading information on service zcip: No such file or directory
SIOCETHTOOL: Operation not supported
SIOCETHTOOL: Operation not supported

Does anyone have any clue as to what the problem may be??

I'm not sure why you are using drakconnect. After you have run
Code:

modprobe ndiswrapper
then Control Center will recognise your card and you can write the configuration in there. Make sure you enable "start on boot" or whatever it is.
Did you know 10.1 Official is out by the way?
