Hi there,
I've been trying to get wireless internet working for about a week now with no success. I've downloaded the correct drivers, configured the card and I still had no luck.
So today I started looking a bit more closely at my hardware. I think the memory of my wirelesshttp://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/newthread.php?do=newthread&f=41 card may be disabled. In Yast admin I looked at "Hardware information". I can see my wireless card, under memory it says: "Mem :Active: No"
And also when I run lspci -v in my console it actually says the memory of the card is disabled. See below:
Quote:
00:0b.0 Ethernet controller: Atheros Communications, Inc. AR5005G 802.11abg NIC (rev 01)
Subsystem: AMBIT Microsystem Corp. Unknown device 0420
Flags: medium devsel, IRQ 3
Memory at e4010000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [] [size=64K]

Does anyone know anything about the memory of wireless cards?
Can anyone tell me how to enable it... can it be enabled?
