modprobe not working!

Hi,

I am trying to get a Buffalo WLI-CB-G54A card working on Ubuntu. I install the driver using ndiswrapper, and it says "driver present, hardware present" so I think it's ok.

However when I modprobe ndiswrapper, I check dmesg and I get this:

Quote:
[4295505.977000] ndiswrapper (import:238): unknown symbol: ntoskrnl.exe:ZwOpenKey
[4295505.977000] ndiswrapper (import:238): unknown symbol: ntoskrnl.exe:ZwEnumerateKey
[4295505.977000] ndiswrapper (import:238): unknown symbol: ntoskrnl.exe:ZwQueryValueKey
[4295505.977000] ndiswrapper (import:238): unknown symbol: NDIS.SYS:NdisRegisterProtocol
[4295505.977000] ndiswrapper (import:238): unknown symbol: NDIS.SYS:NdisOpenAdapter
[4295505.977000] ndiswrapper (import:238): unknown symbol: NDIS.SYS:NdisCloseAdapter
[4295505.977000] ndiswrapper (import:238): unknown symbol: NDIS.SYS:NdisRequest
[4295505.978000] ndiswrapper (import:238): unknown symbol: NDIS.SYS:NdisDeregisterProtocol
[4295505.978000] ndiswrapper (load_sys_files:456): unable to prepare driver 'netcbg54'
[4295505.993000] ndiswrapper (ndiswrapper_load_driver:92): loadndiswrapper failed (6); check system log for messages from 'loadndisdriver'
Has anyone got any ideas? I've had this card working before, so this is really frustrating!

Many thanks,
Will.

Does Ubuntu or ndiswrapper wiki say you also need to install firmware for wireless card. Check their forum for their wireless troubleshooting guide. Good luck.
