I have never posted, so please go easy on me. here's me issue:
I have Mepis 3.3 installed and working fine (well almost). My issue is with my wireless setup (using Kwifi). I have a linksys wireless router in my house and all of the XP computers work fine. However, when I boot up Mepis, sometimes it logs onto my network all by itself and I dont have to manually run wifimanager. Other times it doesn't. When this is the case, I run wifimanager and I get the following:
It connects to some unknown network and I get :
- The connected to network field is blank.
- the Access Point field will say something akin to: 00:0F:66:34:46:60
- the local IP is unavailable
- the frequency channel is 2.437[6]
Also,
- I cant ping my router or anything else outside of the network (duh)
- When I run the scan for network deal, it says it cant find any networks.
Any help woulr rock my pants
