ALMOST THERE!!!!!

Well after several weeks of trial and error I can finally see my card! I had to use a modified madwifi package created by another fella but at least my interface is working finally.

A couple of questions though....

Mandrake 10.0 doesn't list my interface for network configuration (looked for ath0, madwifi_pci, wlan or ath_pci). Any ideas on which one to use or can I put one in myself?

Also in the config file (ifcfg-ath0) which lines specify my IP addy and Gateway?


Tomorrow if I have the time and energy I'm planning on doing a fresh install of Mandrake 10.0 and the modified madwifi tarball I have while documenting all the steps I took to get it to work. Part of my problems might be due to installing ndiswrapper a couple of times and also installing different madwifi drivers etc. Been a hell of a job!
