Macbook Air 13 Wifi not working with Linux Saucy Salamander 13.10

Hello! I have a late 2013 Macbook Air 13" and I Just loaded Saucy Salamander 13.10 on in a different partition. But the wifi capabilities are not working. there is the networking tab doesn't recognize that any wifi connections exist. I've never used Linux before, never used terminal. If you guys have any help, that'd be fantastic.. Otherwise I'll delete it, because it's just taking up space..

Hi & Welcome to LQ!

I am not the good with wireless configuration.
Other members here are much more experienced with that.
In the meantime--

It could just be that you need to install a driver for your wireless card.
To find out what wireless card you have open the terminal and run this command:
Code:

lspci | grep -i network
The only article I found that is close to a Mac was a Debian Wiki page.
https://wiki.debian.org/MacBook/Wireless

I think but not sure that the iwconfig command will show your network.
http://www.linuxcommand.org/man_pages/iwconfig8.html
http://linux.die.net/man/8/iwconfig

Hope that helps.
