Looking for a Wireless network card for RH 8.0
 

Hello,

I bought a Linksys WMP11 3.0 card and tried to install on my RH 8.0 system. Looking at this forum, I realize that the chipset is a broadcom one and that the card won't work on linux.

I'm screwed; I need to buy a new PCI wireless card.

Can anybody tell me chich card (brand/model) will work on RH 8.9 ? What about NetGear MA311 ?

I have an MA311 running on RH 8 or Slack 9.

I had to update the orinoco_pci module to the 13x series or it wasn't very stable. After that it has been up for weeks at a time and I have no complaints.

Hi All

I have tried out DWL520+.
It works fine in RH8(kernel version 2.4.18-14).

I used the latest driver from sourceforge
http://sourceforge.net/projects/acx100/

(It's a pretty recent one ,23 august,2003)



However, I could not use Belkin F5D6001 In RH8 (anyone know's abt it's driver).can anyone help me?
