Looking for a good Linux-compatible WiFi adapter

I'm planning on buying a new 802.11b wireless network adapter for my desktop computer. Can anyone recommend one?
I would either need it to be PCI or USB.
Price is an issue -- I'm hoping to keep it under $50, if possible
Nothing special, don't need 802.11g compatability, just b, that will work with both Windows and Linux.
I've got kernel 2.6.3-7mdk w/ Mandrakelinux 10.0 Official.
Suggestions for what to go with (and who I can beg for help from when it doesn't work) would be much appreciated.

*note: I know there are all kinds of lists out there, but I'm hoping to find someone who actually has one working with a setup similar to my own.

EDIT: Oops... just realized there was a wireless networking sub-forum.

Thanks for moving it, but I have already found the solution in a cheap wireless bridge. It independent of the main computer so no problems.
