Looking for a 802.11n usb or pcmcia wireless adapter

Hello everyone,

I've already spent 2 or 3 hours on google and a lot of other pages trying to find a wireless N adapter that is out-of-the-box compatible with mainstream linux distros (or at least with some *minor* hacking) but with no *clear* result... The only relative topic I've found here is this one: http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...-draft-610067/ which mentions the Belkin N1 in combination with MadWifi or NDISWrapper.

I'm currently using ubuntu 9.04 (so I guess this means the version of the kernel is 2.6.28) and in an ideal world I would like to buy a pcmcia card with n support that I will plug-in to the socket and have the wireless working right away. In the real world a usb would also do and also I could spend 30m-1h setting it up as long as it's stable afterwards... :)

Do you have anything to suggest? I would be more than thankful if someone could give me a model number that he knows it works :)

Cheers!

This list is for USB only. It covers all (type not vendor) 802.11abgn.
You can select from 'wlan type' column and corresponding 'works with Linux' columns. Get the green ones.
