I installed the linux-wlan-ng on my simens speed stream USB 802.11b wireless card, and it it has doesnt work. it works in windows, and on my old computer it worked in linux, but now its just giving me this error
Code:
wlanctl-ng wlan0 lnxreq_ifstate ifstate=enable
message=lnxreq_ifstate
ifstate=enable
resultcode=implementation_failure
i set up syslog to log my kernel and this is what i get:
----------kernel log---------------
12:12:05 evanpc kernel: hfa384x_docmd: ctlx failure=REQ_FAILED
12:12:05 evanpc kernel: hfa384x_drvr_start: cmd_initialize() failed, result=-5
12:12:05 evanpc kernel: prism2sta_ifstate: hfa384x_drvr_start() failed,result=-5

does anybody know what this could be a symptom of? Im using linux-wlan-ng pre16, and Im on a 2.4.23 kernel with the openmosix clustering patch
